This is Val de Salis's take on Sauvignon Blanc — a dry white wine out of France from the 2024 vintage. About the grape — Sauvignon Blanc is a crisp, aromatic white grape known for zesty acidity and vivid flavors of citrus, green apple, gooseberry and fresh-cut grass. France is the spiritual home of wine, the place that gave us most of the world's classic styles and the whole idea that where a wine grows shapes how it tastes. It's made for seafood — oysters, grilled fish, a fresh salad or a tangy goat cheese. Serve it well chilled.
