Mavro Kalavrytino, the 'Black of Kalavryta,' is a rare Greek mountain red grape giving fresh, red-fruited wines. Greece has been making wine for thousands of years, and its sun-drenched hills and breezy islands grow native grapes you simply won't find anywhere else. It's a friendly all-rounder — lovely with roast chicken, pork, mushroomy dishes or a bowl of tomatoey pasta. Serve it at cool room temperature.
