Qta encontro Sparkl special cuvee x-brut 2017

This is Qta Encontro's take on Baga — a sparkling white wine out of Portugal from the 2017 vintage. Baga is a Portuguese red grape from the Bairrada region, known for high acidity, firm tannins and bright red-fruit, with excellent aging potential. Portugal is a goldmine of native grapes, from the zippy whites of the green northwest to the muscular reds and legendary Ports of the Douro Valley. Crack it open as a celebration starter — it loves shellfish, salty nibbles and fried bites. Best served cold, ideally in a tall glass.
