Monte velho Monte velho alentejo white 2024

Here's a lovely dry white wine from Portugal, made with Antão Vaz, Roupeiro (Síria) and Perrum from the 2024 vintage. Antão Vaz is an Alentejo white grape giving ripe, full-bodied wines with tropical and stone-fruit character and good structure. It's blended with Roupeiro (Síria), too. It's from the Alentejo, the warm, rolling plains of southern Portugal known for ripe, welcoming reds. Great with comfort food: creamy pastas, roast chicken, richer fish. Best straight from the fridge, nicely chilled.
