Los noques Finca don juan wood box 2015
Here's a lovely dry red wine from Argentina, made with Malbec and Cabernet Franc from the 2015 vintage. Malbec is a French grape that found its spiritual home in Argentina, producing deeply colored, full-bodied reds with plush black-fruit, plum and a velvety texture. There's Cabernet Franc in the blend too: an aromatic red grape, a parent of Cabernet Sauvignon, typically lighter in body with red-fruit, herbal and sometimes peppery character. Argentina is South America's wine powerhouse, where most of the vineyards sit high in the dry foothills of the Andes — all that bright sunshine and cool mountain nights give the wines their ripe, juicy generosity. This is your steak-night, lamb-roast, hearty-stew kind of red. Best enjoyed at cool room temperature.
