Boutari Kretikos red 2022

Meet Boutari Kretikos's dry red wine: a blend of Kotsifali and Mandilaria, all from Greece from the 2022 vintage. Kotsifali is a Cretan red grape producing soft, aromatic, fruit-forward wines, often blended with Mandilaria for added color and structure. There's Mandilaria in the blend too: a deeply colored Greek red grape giving tannic, full-bodied wines, often blended to add color and structure. Greece has been making wine for thousands of years, and its sun-drenched hills and breezy islands grow native grapes you simply won't find anywhere else. Pour it with weeknight pasta, roast chicken or a cheese plate and you're golden. Serve it at cool room temperature.
