Here's a lovely dry white wine from Australia, made with Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc from the 2024 vintage. New to Sémillon? Sémillon is a white grape giving rounded, waxy-textured wines with notes of lemon, fig and honey, and is also key to many of the world's great sweet wines. There's Sauvignon Blanc in the blend too: a crisp, aromatic white grape known for zesty acidity and vivid flavors of citrus, green apple, gooseberry and fresh-cut grass. Australia is one of the great New World wine countries, with sun-soaked regions turning out bold, friendly reds and cooler corners crafting fresher, more delicate styles. Great with comfort food: creamy pastas, roast chicken, richer fish. Best straight from the fridge, nicely chilled.
