Wineart Nebbiolo red 2012

Wineart brings us this dry red wine from Greece, made with Nebbiolo from the 2012 vintage. Nebbiolo is the noble red grape of Piedmont behind Barolo and Barbaresco, producing pale but powerfully tannic, high-acid wines with rose, tar and red-cherry aromatics. Greece has been making wine for thousands of years, and its sun-drenched hills and breezy islands grow native grapes you simply won't find anywhere else. Pour it with grilled steak, lamb or a slow-cooked stew and it'll feel right at home. Pop it open at cool room temperature — a brief chill on a hot day doesn't hurt.
