A dry white wine from France, made with Chardonnay from the 2023 vintage. Chardonnay is the world's most famous white grape, remarkably versatile, ranging from crisp and citrusy when unoaked to rich and buttery with notes of apple, pear and, when oak-aged, vanilla and toast. It's from Chablis, the cool northern outpost of Burgundy famous for steely, mineral Chardonnay. It has the body for roast chicken, creamy pasta or a buttery fish dish. Best straight from the fridge, nicely chilled.
