Paulo silva Casal azenha colares red 2019

Here's a dry red wine from Portugal from the 2019 vintage. It comes from Colares, a tiny seaside enclave near Lisbon where ungrafted old vines grow right in the sand dunes — some of the few in Europe to survive the phylloxera plague. It's happy with grilled meats, pasta and hearty, comforting food. Pop it open at cool room temperature — a brief chill on a hot day doesn't hurt.
