Nigri-lacoste Jurancon doux pas de deux 2019
This sweet white wine comes from France, built around Petit Manseng and Gros Manseng from the 2019 vintage. New to Petit Manseng? Petit Manseng is a southwest French white grape with thick skins and high acidity, used for both vibrant dry and richly sweet wines with stone-fruit and citrus. Gros Manseng comes along for the ride as well — a southwest French white grape giving fresh, high-acid wines with citrus, grapefruit and exotic-fruit notes. It comes from Jurançon in the Pyrenean foothills, famous for vibrant whites both dry and sweet. It's lovely with fruit tarts, creamy desserts or a slice of cake — or a glass on its own to finish the evening. A little goes a long way — serve it lightly cooled.
