Moraitis Meltemi white 2024
Meet Moraitis Meltemi's dry white wine: a blend of Savatiano and Malvasia, all from Greece from the 2024 vintage. Savatiano is Greece's most planted white grape, giving soft, fresh wines with subtle citrus and stone fruit, and is the traditional base of retsina. It's joined by Malvasia — an ancient Mediterranean white grape family giving aromatic, often rich wines with floral, apricot and nutty notes, in both dry and sweet styles. Greece has been making wine for thousands of years, and its sun-drenched hills and breezy islands grow native grapes you simply won't find anywhere else. It's made for seafood — oysters, grilled fish, a fresh salad or a tangy goat cheese. Best straight from the fridge, nicely chilled.
