Messias Espumante baga brut rose 20NV

This is Messias's take on Baga — a sparkling rosé wine out of Portugal, and it's a non-vintage bottling. Baga is a Portuguese red grape from the Bairrada region, known for high acidity, firm tannins and bright red-fruit, with excellent aging potential. Portugal is a goldmine of native grapes, from the zippy whites of the green northwest to the muscular reds and legendary Ports of the Douro Valley. It's a brilliant aperitif and a natural with oysters, fried snacks and good news worth toasting. Best served cold, ideally in a tall glass.
