Say hello to Martin Woods's Aligoté — a dry white wine from Oregon from the 2023 vintage. New to Aligoté? Aligoté is a Burgundian white grape giving crisp, high-acid, lemony wines meant to be drunk young and fresh. Oregon, up in the cool, rainy Pacific Northwest, has made its name with elegant, cool-climate wines — its silky Pinot Noir above all. It's made for seafood — oysters, grilled fish, a fresh salad or a tangy goat cheese. Serve it well chilled.
