Kotrotsos Mavrodaphne of patras 20NV

Here's a lovely sweet red wine from Greece, made with Mavrodaphne, and it's a non-vintage bottling. Mavrodaphne is a Greek red grape best known for rich, sweet fortified wines from Patras, with flavors of dried fruit, chocolate and spice. Greece has been making wine for thousands of years, and its sun-drenched hills and breezy islands grow native grapes you simply won't find anywhere else. It's gorgeous with dark chocolate, blue cheese or a handful of nuts — or simply on its own to round off a meal. A little goes a long way — serve it lightly cooled.
