Here's a lovely dry white wine from Portugal, made with Antão Vaz and Arinto from the 2022 vintage. A quick word on the grape: Antão Vaz is an Alentejo white grape giving ripe, full-bodied wines with tropical and stone-fruit character and good structure. There's Arinto in the blend too: a Portuguese white grape prized for its bracing acidity and lemony, mineral freshness, holding its zing even in warm climates. Portugal is a goldmine of native grapes, from the zippy whites of the green northwest to the muscular reds and legendary Ports of the Douro Valley. Great with comfort food: creamy pastas, roast chicken, richer fish. Chill it down and enjoy.
