Here's a lovely dry red wine from France, made with Gamay from the 2024 vintage. Gamay is a light, fruity red grape best known from Beaujolais, giving bright, low-tannin wines bursting with red cherry and raspberry. It's from Beaujolais, the cheerful region just south of Burgundy that's all about juicy Gamay. It's light enough for salmon and poultry, and happy with a gentle chill on a warm day. Serve it at cool room temperature.
