Here's a lovely dry red wine from France, made with Grenache and Counoise from the 2022 vintage. New to Grenache? Grenache is a warm-climate red grape giving generous, fruit-forward wines with ripe strawberry and raspberry flavors, gentle tannins and a touch of spice. It's joined by Counoise — a southern Rhône red grape that adds bright acidity, pepper and fresh red-fruit lift to blends. It comes from the Rhône Valley, the sunny southern French home of Syrah and Grenache. Pour it with weeknight pasta, roast chicken or a cheese plate and you're golden. Pop it open at cool room temperature — a brief chill on a hot day doesn't hurt.
