Averoff Black squirrel 2021

Meet Averoff Black Squirrel's Xinomavro: a dry red wine hailing from Greece from the 2021 vintage. Xinomavro is northern Greece's noble red grape, famed in Naoussa for high acidity, firm tannins and savory red-fruit and tomato notes; it is often compared to Italy's Nebbiolo. Greece has been making wine for thousands of years, and its sun-drenched hills and breezy islands grow native grapes you simply won't find anywhere else. Pour it with grilled steak, lamb or a slow-cooked stew and it'll feel right at home. Best enjoyed at cool room temperature.
