Strofilia Mountain fish agiorgitiko r 2021

Strofilia Mountain Fish Agiorgitiko R 2021 is a dry red wine from PGI Peloponnese, made with Agiorgitiko grapes. The vinification involves initial cold soaking at 12° C, followed by fermentation at 23° C for vivid color and strong aromatic character. The wine has a light purple color with violet highlights and aromas of ripe red fruits, especially wild cherry and sour cherry, framed by clove and vanilla spices. It offers a velvety, aromatic taste with good acidity and structure, and a long, fruity aftertaste. Perfect with grilled meats, light red sauces, pizza, briam, spaghetti Bolognese, oily foods, and liver. The vineyards in Asprokampos, on the Stymfalia plateau, have deep, clayey, alkaline soils and yield not more than 900 kg/acre. The harvest is in late September.
