Samartzis Mouhtaro theva red 2021

Samartzis Mouhtaro Theva Red 2021, a PGI Thiva wine, is handmade with low intervention from the Mouhtaro vineyard on Helicon Mountain. Soil is clay and gravel, and the yield is 8000 kg/ha. Vinification includes 20 days of pigeage in 300-500lt barrels, followed by 10-12 months aging. The wine has a dark black ruby red color, aromas of black fruit, vanilla, chocolate, violet, and cinnamon, high acidity, mellow tannins, and a rich, creamy taste with black fruit, butter, caramel, chocolate, and cinnamon flavors. It has a full body and a very long aftertaste.
