A dry red wine from France, made with Grenache, Carignan and Syrah from the 2022 vintage. About the grape — Grenache is a warm-climate red grape giving generous, fruit-forward wines with ripe strawberry and raspberry flavors, gentle tannins and a touch of spice. There's Carignan in the blend too: a hardy Mediterranean red grape giving deeply colored, high-acid wines with bramble fruit and a rustic, savory edge. France is the spiritual home of wine, the place that gave us most of the world's classic styles and the whole idea that where a wine grows shapes how it tastes. It's made from old vines, which tend to give deeper, more concentrated fruit. It's a friendly all-rounder — lovely with roast chicken, pork, mushroomy dishes or a bowl of tomatoey pasta. Best enjoyed at cool room temperature.
