Here's a lovely sparkling white wine from France, made with Pinot Gris from the 2023 vintage. A quick word on the grape: Pinot Gris is a white grape giving fuller-bodied, gently aromatic wines with ripe pear, stone fruit and a soft, rounded texture. It's a Crémant — a French sparkler made the same painstaking way as Champagne, just from a different region. It's a brilliant aperitif and a natural with oysters, fried snacks and good news worth toasting. Best served cold, ideally in a tall glass.
