Vina Tarapaca brings us this dry red wine from Chile, a blend of Carmenère, Cabernet and Syrah from the 2020 vintage. A quick word on the grape: Carmenère is a red grape now most associated with Chile, producing soft, medium-bodied wines with ripe dark fruit and a distinctive green-peppercorn, herbal note. It's joined by Cabernet — a deeply colored, structured red grape in the Cabernet family, known for dark-fruit flavors and firm tannins.
