Vallado Sousao douro red 2021

This is Vallado's take on Sousão (Souzão) — a dry red wine out of Portugal from the 2021 vintage. Sousão is a deeply colored, high-acid Portuguese red grape that adds vivid color and freshness to Port and Douro reds. It's grown on the steep, terraced schist slopes of the Douro Valley — the breathtaking river region that gave the world Port. Pour it with grilled steak, lamb or a slow-cooked stew and it'll feel right at home. Best enjoyed at cool room temperature.
