Vallado Quinta do vallado douro red 2024

This dry red wine comes from Portugal, built around Tinta Barroca, Tinta Roriz (Tempranillo) and Touriga Franca from the 2024 vintage. Tinta Barroca is a Douro red grape contributing ripe, sweet dark fruit and deep color to reds and Port. There's Tinta Roriz (Tempranillo) in the blend too: the Portuguese name for Tempranillo, contributing firm structure and dark-fruit depth to Douro reds and Port. It's grown on the steep, terraced schist slopes of the Douro Valley — the breathtaking river region that gave the world Port. It's a friendly all-rounder — lovely with roast chicken, pork, mushroomy dishes or a bowl of tomatoey pasta. Best enjoyed at cool room temperature.
