Tetramythos Rizes agiorgitiko red 2021

This is Tetramythos Rizes's take on Agiorgitiko — a dry red wine out of Greece from the 2021 vintage. About the grape — Agiorgitiko is one of Greece's most important red grapes, centered on Nemea, producing soft, velvety wines with ripe red-fruit, plum and a hint of spice. Greece has been making wine for thousands of years, and its sun-drenched hills and breezy islands grow native grapes you simply won't find anywhere else. It's a friendly all-rounder — lovely with roast chicken, pork, mushroomy dishes or a bowl of tomatoey pasta. Best enjoyed at cool room temperature.
