Tetramythos Agiorgitiko/cabernet 2023

Tetramythos brings us this dry red wine from Greece, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Agiorgitiko from the 2023 vintage. Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the world's most planted red grapes, prized for its deep color, firm tannins and dark-fruit flavors of blackcurrant and plum, often with notes of cedar and tobacco. There's Agiorgitiko in the blend too: one of Greece's most important red grapes, centered on Nemea, producing soft, velvety wines with ripe red-fruit, plum and a hint of spice. Greece has been making wine for thousands of years, and its sun-drenched hills and breezy islands grow native grapes you simply won't find anywhere else. Pour it with grilled steak, lamb or a slow-cooked stew and it'll feel right at home. Best enjoyed at cool room temperature.
