A dry white wine from Portugal, made with Encruzado, Bical, Malvasia and Cerceal from the 2025 vintage. A quick word on the grape: Encruzado is Portugal's finest Dão white grape, giving structured, age-worthy wines with citrus, mineral and a creamy texture. Bical comes along for the ride as well — a Bairrada white grape giving fresh, aromatic wines with citrus and stone fruit, also used for sparkling. Portugal is a goldmine of native grapes, from the zippy whites of the green northwest to the muscular reds and legendary Ports of the Douro Valley. Great with comfort food: creamy pastas, roast chicken, richer fish. Best straight from the fridge, nicely chilled.
