A dry white wine from Portugal, made with Malvasia from the 2019 vintage. About the grape — Malvasia is an ancient Mediterranean white grape family giving aromatic, often rich wines with floral, apricot and nutty notes, in both dry and sweet styles. It comes from Colares, a tiny seaside enclave near Lisbon where ungrafted old vines grow right in the sand dunes — some of the few in Europe to survive the phylloxera plague. It shines next to spicy and aromatic food — think Thai, Indian or anything with a little kick. Chill it down and enjoy.
