Meet Kourtaki Vin's dry red wine: a blend of Mandilaria, Liatiko and Kotsifali, all from Greece from the 2023 vintage. New to Mandilaria? Mandilaria is a deeply colored Greek red grape giving tannic, full-bodied wines, often blended to add color and structure. Liatiko comes along for the ride as well — an ancient Cretan red grape giving pale, perfumed wines with red-fruit and spice, used for both dry and sweet styles. It comes from Crete, an island with one of the oldest wine cultures in the world. This is your steak-night, lamb-roast, hearty-stew kind of red. Pop it open at cool room temperature — a brief chill on a hot day doesn't hurt.
