Kotrotsos Agiorgitiko "ophelia" nemea 2023

Here's a lovely dry red wine from Greece, made with Agiorgitiko from the 2023 vintage. Agiorgitiko is one of Greece's most important red grapes, centered on Nemea, producing soft, velvety wines with ripe red-fruit, plum and a hint of spice. It comes from Nemea, the rolling heart of the Peloponnese and the home turf of the Agiorgitiko grape. It's a friendly all-rounder — lovely with roast chicken, pork, mushroomy dishes or a bowl of tomatoey pasta. Best enjoyed at cool room temperature.
