Here's a lovely dry white wine from France, made with Riesling from the 2018 vintage. Riesling is a noble, highly aromatic white grape producing wines from bone-dry to lusciously sweet, all marked by piercing acidity and flavors of lime, green apple and stone fruit. France is the spiritual home of wine, the place that gave us most of the world's classic styles and the whole idea that where a wine grows shapes how it tastes. It shines next to spicy and aromatic food — think Thai, Indian or anything with a little kick. Best straight from the fridge, nicely chilled.
