Meet Clos Mt. Olivet's dry red wine: a blend of Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah, all from France from the 2023 vintage. New to Grenache? Grenache is a warm-climate red grape giving generous, fruit-forward wines with ripe strawberry and raspberry flavors, gentle tannins and a touch of spice. It's from Lirac in the southern Rhône, known for generous, full-flavored Grenache-led reds and rosés. It's a friendly all-rounder — lovely with roast chicken, pork, mushroomy dishes or a bowl of tomatoey pasta. Serve it at cool room temperature.
